Campus employees with no prior web experience can use Open Berkeley's powerful toolset to easily build sophisticated websites, and customers can rely on Open Berkeley to provide critical solutions to ongoing Security, Accessibility, and Maintenance issues.

Open Berkeley requires no prior web or technical experience to build a site. Web Platform Services will handle all security updatesaccessibility considerations, and maintenance/support. Open Berkeley also provides the benefit of continuous improvement and new features, which are automatically rolled out to all sites on our platform.

We've also partnered with the Office of Communications & Public Affairs to incorporate the Berkeley brand guidelines into a ready-to-use theme for Open Berkeley sites.

We currently have over 200 campus websites on the Open Berkeley platform. Many of these sites were built by communications staff without any prior web experience.
