Open Berkeley / Berkeley Web Builder Rate Increases July 1
Open Berkeley and Berkeley Web Builder maintenance/support rates will increase in the new fiscal year from $135/month to $142/month. After July 1, 2026, the total cost of your Open Berkeley or Berkeley Web Builder site (per month) will be $142 + the rate of your Pantheon hosting plan. Pantheon rates are not increasing on July 1, 2026.
Berkeley IT Billing naming changes
If your billing administrator or team members use the TelCat system for Berkeley IT Billing, they may notice “PANTH-OB-” charges have been stopped and replaced with “PANTH-WPS-” charges. These charges are related to Pantheon hosting for both Open Berkeley and the new Berkeley Web Builder platform. As we expect the hosting plans and their related charges to remain consistent between Open Berkeley and the new platform, we have renamed the chart codes to use “WPS” (for Web Platform Services) instead of “OB” (for Open Berkeley). There should be no change to the billing itself unless you have specifically heard from our team otherwise.
