Theme Settings

This section contains instructions on how to select different theme settings for your Open Berkeley site. Some options are specific to the Public Affairs branding guidelines, and some options are general Open Berkeley settings and configurations.

Typography Tags

Depending on your needs (e.g., if you would like to display code snippets on your site), you might find the following allowed typography tags to be useful for displaying text:

  • <pre>
  • <code>
  • <samp>
  • <kbd>
  • <var>
  • <mark>

Here is how text added with these typography tags will look on your Open Berkeley site:

Use QuickLinks Menu

The Quick Links menu is an optional menu that can be enabled if desired. It will show up in the Secondary menu, in the upper right corner of the page.

To enable, navigate to your Dashboard. Under "Other Administration," select "Theme Settings":

Move a Page from One Menu to Another

You can move a page from one menu to another. For example, you can move a page from the main menu to the secondary menu.

From the Dashboard (admin/dashboard), click Manage Links next to the menu you would like to move an item from (such as the Main menu). Find the link you would like to move (such as "News"), then click "Edit".
